OpportunityRetail sales continued to decline YOY with little awareness of the Thorntons Direct business amongst consumers. The requirement was to develop the positioning and communication for the Thorntons Direct Brand which delivered significant growth YOY within target CPAs.
ActionWe developed a multi-channel acquisition, Brand Building and CRM strategy to position Thorntons Direct as the UK’s premier gifting company. This encompassed both consumer and corporate marketing across all channels including catalogues, direct mail, email marketing, OLM, PPC, and affiliate marketing.
PerformanceThorntons Annual Reports show direct sales grew by 60.2% YOY in Year 1 and to date a further 27% in Year 2.
