Opportunity

The aim of the Tesco Free SIM campaign was to create significant online awareness to deliver a multi-channel integrated campaign that produced high volume of conversions and a strong activation rate amongst consumers. Tesco Telecoms did not have the deep pockets of its Brand Building rivals, so a highly strategic and cost effective campaign was required. The Customer Journey was also vital in encouraging people to use their Free SIMs and to generate future revenue for Tesco Telecoms.

Action

Oneninety delivered the strategic campaign, combining networks, text links, CPA deals and banner advertising to reach the campaign objectives. Numerous creatives were produced to drive optimisation via Test and Learn and to create stand out in a very saturated market. Recommendations around activation rate were approved by the client, and changes to the Welcome Pack, website and consumer correspondence are currently being implemented.
