OpportunitySales were continuing to decline for Oxy, the range of products for spots and acne. It had been de-listed by the major retailers and was losing market share to its major competitors. An opportunity was identified to target the range specifically for teen boys and also the end-purchaser – usually the mum. The requirement was to produce packaging to meet the needs of the new audiences.
ActionOur creative strategy was to provide the Oxy range with great on-shelf standout and modernise the Brand. The designs were specifically created to both communicate an efficacious formula and care for young male skin. Gym-bag appeal was a prerequisite to ensure daily usage and brand affinity. Our design was included within a range from different competitor agencies in a series of consumer tests.
PerformanceOur design was selected as the best from consumer research, creating a range that appealed to sons and mothers alike whilst delivering in-store standout over and above the competition.
